16. Connect the air quality plug marked “ECB-J5” from the

unit electrical harness into the Economizer Control Board
plug J5. Be sure to connect the plug with the proper orien-
tation such that the locking tabs capture the plug.

17. Connect plug marked “ECB-J4” from the unit electrical

harness into the Economizer Control Board plug J4. Be
sure to connect the plug with the proper orientation such
that the locking tabs capture the plug.

18. Route the wires from the harness installed during Steps 6-

8 into the control box. (See Fig. 11.) The wires should be
routed into the box through the hole located at the bottom
right corner of the control box, behind the field connec-
tion terminal blocks. Use the other bushing provided to
install the wires so that the control box does not damage
them.

19. Connect the plug marked “ECB-J8 (16-18)” to the J8

connector on the Economizer Control Board, plug J8,

pins 16 through 18. Connect the plug marked “ECB-J7”
to the J7 plug on the Economizer Control Board.

20. Several wires will need to be connected to the BACK-

SIDE of the terminal strips TB4 and TB5. The wires are
marked with the appropriate locations. Connect the wires
as marked to the back of the TB4 terminal strip, locations
1 and 7. Connect the wires as marked to the back of the
TB5 terminal strip, locations 6, 7, 8 and 9. Connect the
red power wire marked “CB1” to the CB1 circuit breaker
on the load side.

21. Secure all wires so that they do not rub any sharp edges or

interfere with any moving parts.

22. Replace the control box cover using the screws saved

from Step 13.

23. Power can now safely be restored to the unit.
