Photocatalytic filters

• Clean these filters every three months. Wash them with water,

and leave them for 2/3 hours to dry in sunlight.

• Replace them approximately every five years.

Ensure a uniform air circulation in the room, controlling the air flow
direction in the appropriate way.

Maintenance

• Before restarting the unit after prolonged shutdown proceed

as follows:

- Inspect and clean the outdoor unit especially the coil.
- Clean or replace the filters of the indoor unit.
- Check and clean the condensate drain pan of the indoor unit;

the same check must be made for the heat pump outdoor unit.

- Check tightness of electric connections.

Guide for the owner

When installation and tests are completed the installer should
explain the Operation and Maintenance Manual to the owner, with
particular attention to the main operating modes of the air
conditioner, such as:

• Turning the unit on and off.

• Changing the operation modes.

• Temperature selection.

• Directional louvre control for optimizing the air flow direction.

Leave the two installation manuals for the indoor and outdoor
units with the owner for future use during maintenance operations
or for any other needs.

Filters cleaning

The standard filters supplied are high-efficiency washable and
recyclable filters.

For their maintenance, open the grille without removing the two
screws and the central clamp from their position.

Acrylic-fibre filters

To establish, how frequently these should be cleaned, the
operating conditions must be taken into account (for guid-
ance: 6 months).

• The acrylic-fibre air filters can be washed with water.

• Remove the filters.

• First clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner, and then rinse them

under running water, and dry them.

• Correctly re-insert the filter in its position.
