02. HOW TO HANDLE BATTERIES SAFELY

If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid,
rinse the affected areas with plenty of water and seek
medical attention.

Danger of swallowing!
Small children can swallow and suffocate on batteries.
Keep the batteries out of reach of small children.
• Pay attention to the correct polarity (Plus + and Minus −)
when inserting the batteries.

Danger of burns!
Once a battery is flat, put on gloves and clean the bat-
tery compartment with a dry cloth.

Danger of explosion!
Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Take the batteries out of the compartment if the appli-
ance is not to be used for a longer period.
• Always replace all batteries at the same time.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Do not dismantle, divide or crush the batteries.
