4.   If you approve of the default installation folder,

Manager in another folder, click

NOTE

If your computer doesn't have the 

.Net framework installed, it will be 

installed now.  This process can 

take between 5 and 10 minutes; 

please wait while it installs.

After the installation is complete, the 

Installation 

completed

 window appears.

Congratulations, you have successfully completed 

your 650 Device Manager installation.

NOTE

If you have the older version 1 of 

650 Device Manager installed, the 

new version 2 will detect it and offer 

to uninstall it automatically before 

installing the new version 2.

Removing the Bottom Cover

Before you can connect the USB cable to the lantern, 

you must remove the lantern’s Bottom Cover. To do 

this:

1.  Turn the lantern upside down and place it on a 

soft cloth (to avoid scratching the housing).

2.  Locate and turn the locking screw counter-

clockwise to loosen it (you do not have to remove 

the locking screw).

3.  Secure the lantern so it won’t move, and then 

firmly twist the Bottom Cover counter-clockwise 

until it stops.
