CALIBRATION SEAL INSTALLATION
If your DS Series scale is used in a commercial application it must be tested and sealed by
your local weights and measures official. The DS Series is designed to accept a lead and wire
security seal to prevent unauthorized access to the calibration adjustments. Refer to the figure
below for details on the installation of the seal.
Thread the sealing wire through the hole in the post in the center of the scale as shown.
Pull the wire tight and install the lead seal.
The scale housings cannot be separated without damaging the seal.
