Monitor Panel
The monitor panel is located inside your Carado above the kitchen galley area.
Power Sources
The monitor panel controls 2 separate power sources; the 12-volt DC power and the 120-volt AC
power via the inverter, shore power, or optional underhood generator. (Picture 39.1)
12-Volt DC Power
The power to the 12-volt DC outlets and appliances is controlled by the battery disconnect switch
second button from right on top row. (Picture 39.2)
The battery disconnect switch supplies 12-volt battery power to the 12-volt lights and other cabin
appliances. This switch must be on for any of the 12-volt electrical devices to work. To avoid
discharging the batteries when your Carado is not in use, remember to turn off two switches:
•
The inverter switch
•
The battery disconnect switch
When your battery disconnect switch is turned on, you will see your Battery Voltage Meter displaying the level of your coach batteries. When in the
off position no lighting, 12V appliances, electronics or 12V plugs will operate.
