7.4.4 HST Fluid (Hydraulic Fluid)
• Low fluid levels may decrease hydraulic performance, periodically check the fluid
level and add fluid if the level is low.
• The HST fluid is also used as the hydraulic fluid. Add the fluid to the hydraulic tank.

Inspection / Adding Fluid
1. Place the machine on level ground, and raise the
load deck. Lock the dumper lever with the lock
plate, and support the load deck with the support bar.
2. Check the hydraulic fluid level gauge. If the fluid level
is low, add fluid.

Replacement
1. Prepare a suitable container to catch the drained
fluid.
2. Remove the drain plug to drain the fluid.

Avoid contact with high temperature oil to
avoid burns.
Dispose of the drained fluid properly.
3. Replace the drain plug.
4. Open a hydraulic fluid cap.
5. Add the specified fluid into the hydraulic fluid
tank.
6. Replace the hydraulic fluid cap.
7. Start the engine to circulate the fluid.
8. Check the hydraulic fluid level gauge.
