On the TV remote control, press the button that you want to program within 15 seconds. If transmission was successful, [OK] will light up in the
display and you can learn the next function, e.g. "Volume -". If [FAI] appears in the display, the transmission has failed and you have
to repeat steps 4 and 5. If the process fails again, please change the distance between the speaker and the TV remote. Alternatively, you
can try pressing the buttons on the TV remote shorter or longer.

To exit the IR Learn menu, please wait 30 seconds without pressing any key. The display will flash [IRL] for 30 seconds, and show [IRL]
permanently for additional 30 seconds.
Note:
The Power button" " has a dual function. If you press it once, [ON] will be displayed. This way the switch-on function will be learned.
If you quickly press the red Power-button " " on the Soundbox 3 twice, [STB] will appear in the display. That is how the standby respectively
switch-off function is learned. If your TV remote control has only one button for the “ON” and “OFF” commands, both functions, “ON”
and “Standby”, still need to be assigned this command. The "+" and "-" keys have also a dual function.
The "Play/Pause" button has several functions: Pressing it several times switches between the functions Play/Pause [PP] and OK
(input confirmation) [OK]. If you hold the button for a longer time, [BTP] appears in the display, now you can learn the pairing mode [BTP].
The "+/-" button has the function "/- " and by pressing it several times also the function "Input +/-" (input /-) [IN+] / [IN-].
Note:
Due to the variety of infrared codes it is not possible to guarantee that every IR remote control signal can be learned by the Soundbox 3.
Signals from radio frequency (RF) remote controls cannot be learned generally.
Direct Input Learn [DIL]
By using a third party remote control, the user gets a direct selection of signal inputs. (through this function)
In addition to the input select button " " function, you can directly select the signal inputs (e.g. AUX) when using your TV or universal remote
control. That means you can allocate the desired input to a key on your remote control.
To do this, please proceed as follows:

To enter the menu, press and hold the input select key " " for at least 3 seconds.

Use the "+" or "-" button to navigate into the menu System Setup [SYS] and confirm with the Play/Pause button " ".

Select the item IR Menu [IRM] and confirm with the Play/Pause button " ".

Select the function Direct Input Learn [DIL] and confirm with the Play/Pause button " ".

[AUX] will start flashing in the display. You can now assign a button on your TV remote control to the input “AUX”.
Note:
If you press this key on the remote control while the speaker is in normal mode, the system switches directly to the AUX input.
