Recharging the Battery; Running on AC Power
Note: The ZR930 has a rechargeable lithium ion battery. A full charge lasts
approximately 50 minutes.
1. The
DC IN
power/charging socket for the ZR930 is on the lower
back right of the camera body, next to the battery;
2a. To charge the battery, plug the power cord in to
DC IN
and an AC
outlet. (The camcorder should be turned
OFF
.)
2b. To run the camcorder on AC power, plug the power cord in to
DC
IN
and an AC outlet. You may use the
CAMERA
and/or
PLAY
settings. (The battery may stay on the camcorder, but won’t charge.);
3. When charging the battery, the
CHARGE
light will stop flashing at
full battery charge.

MiniDV to PC Video Transfer—User Transfer Only
Note: MiniDV video to PC transfers are beyond the scope of equipment and
services offered by AV Services. Video transfer requires user-supplied
hardware and software.

Hardware you will need:
1. DV Cable, 4-pin or 6-pin, depending on your computer;
2. A computer equipped with a DV (IEEE 1394) terminal or a DV
capture board.

Software you will need:
1. Video editing software for your Windows or Macintosh computer;
2. The appropriate software driver installed on your computer.

Plus, operating instructions for your specific system setup.
