1. This switch selects between the
camera’s built in
internal
microphone (OFF)
and
external
microphone XLR inputs (ON)
.
2. Use an
XLR connector
to plug up to
2 external microphones into the
microphone inputs
.
Lav mics
and
shotgun mics
can both plug in here.
3. Selecting
MIC
is the most common
setting for most microphones
connected via XLR inputs (certain
microphones require an external
power supply - the
MIC 48V
setting
will make them work).
4. These switches select between
Automatic (A)
and
Manual (M)
input
volume
for their respective
microphone input.
5. If
Manual (M) volume
is selected,
these knobs will control the audio
input level.
