1. Insert
battery pack

2. Set the
on switch
into the
CAMERA
position
3. Insert 1 or 2
SD cards
into the slots.
4. If you need to
format your SD card(s)
, press
the
FUNC.
button
on the camera or on the
touchscreen, then press the
MENU
button
on
the touchscreen to access the
Menu Options
.
From there, select the second submenu tab (the
film and gear icon) and scroll down to select
Initialize SD
option.
WARNING: initializing
your SD card will erase its contents, so
make sure you don’t need anything on
there before formatting!
5. Set the
camera mode switch
to
M (manual).
6. Set the
lens barrier switch
to
open
.
7. Press the red
record button
to begin filming.
