It is recommended that you periodically save your recordings on a

 Using the camcorder, you can convert your movies into 

standard-definition (SD). You can then easily upload these SD videos to 
your favorite video sharing Web site.

If you prefer to save your recordings without having to use a computer, you 
can use the optional DW-100 DVD Burner to create high-definition or 
standard definition discs of your movies and Photo DVDs of your photos. You

HDD recorder, VCR, etc.) to save copies of your movies.
