6. Setting the Film Speed
While pressing the lock release
button, rotate the film speed dial
until the ISO/ASA of your film is
aligned with the green index. This
is necessary for getting correct
exposure.
A film's ISO/ASA number (for
example, ISO/ASA 100)
represents its sensitivity to
light. The higher the number,
the less light needed for an
exposure. Thus, with ISO/ASA
400 film you can shoot even in
dim light.
