6 - c) Cleaning of the Print Rollers
Before starting this operation, please read the general advice which appears in
the beginning part of this section.
□ Turn OFF the main switch and pull out the plug of power cord before the cleaning operation.
→ Otherwise, an electrical shock or personal injury could result.
The figure on Right is shown that
the side cover on ejecting side is
opened.
To open the side cover, take off a
screw located under the stacker.

Prepare cotton swab and put a
few alcohol, clean the whole
surface of all 4 pairs of
rubber rollers and white
mold rollers.
◆ To clean them easily, use t
he
green handle located on front
access area as shown in figure
on right.
This handle is used for
rotating those rollers manually.
6 - d) Cleaning of the Ribbon transport roller
Before beginning this operation, please read the general advice which appears in the beginning
part of this section.

Press Ribbon Change key first, then pull out the ribbon cartridge.
◆
Open the ribbon cartridge, take the ribbon out.
◆ Clean the white mold roller on the lower tray and black rubber roller on
the top cover.
After cleaning, put the ribbon back to the cartridge after waiting till the rollers are completely dry.
