3.2.4.8 Removing the Reader Unit

1) Disconnect the 3 connectors [1].
2) Remove the screw [2].
3) Free the harness [4] from the clamp [3].
4) Remove the 3 screws [5], and detach the reader unit [5].

1) Free the claw [1], and detach the upper reader unit frame [2].

1) Free the harness [1] from the cable guide [2].
2) Remove the 2 screws [3], and detach the side plate [4].

4) Remove the 7 screws [1], and detach the cover [2].

5) Remove the bushing [1].
6) Remove the 2 E-rings [2], and detach the 2 bushings [3].
7) Remove the document feed roller [4] together with the shaft.
