Replacing the Stamp Ink Cartridge (Color Image
Reader Unit-G1) (Optional)
Originals sent via the feeder can be stamped to indicate
that they have been sent. Replace the stamp ink
cartridge when the stamp mark is faint or no longer
visible.
When replacing the stamp ink cartridge, take care not
to allow ink to come into contact with your hands or
clothing. If ink gets onto your hands or clothing, wash
it off immediately with cold water.
NOTE
The feeder (Color Image Reader Unit-G1) is an optional
product.

Open the covers.

1. Pull the lever

open the feeder cover.
2. Open the inner cover, holding it by its tab.

Load the stamp ink cartridge.

1. Remove the old the stamp ink cartridge, using
tweezers.
2. Push in the new the stamp ink cartridge until it clicks,
using tweezers.
IMPORTANT
•
Make sure that the stamp ink cartridge is not
protruding from the surface.
•
Insert the stamp ink cartridge properly, or paper jams
may occur.

Close the covers.

1. Close the inner cover.
2. Close the feeder cover.
When closing the covers, be careful not to get your
fingers caught, as this may result in personal injury.
