3) Check that the above-mentioned three bosses and claws are fitted normally and the side of the waste toner gear holder and
the flat surface of the mounting part are set parallel to each other.
If needed, replace with the new type intermediate guide assembly (FM1-D186-010) and the waste toner gear holder (FM1-
D187-010) whose shapes are changed so that the waste toner gear holder would not come off easily.
<Replacing the intermediate guide assembly>
1) If waste toner has overflowed onto the Intermediate Guide, this waste toner can be fed into the Waste Toner Container by
operating the Waste Toner Feed Motor (M17) (COPIER > FUNCTION > PART-CHK > MTR = 14).
2) Fully open the Right Door.
3) Remove the ITB Unit.
4) Remove the Front Door.
5) Remove the Toner Bottle.
6) Remove the Drum Unit (Y).
7) Remove the Developing Unit (Y).
8) Remove the Left Cover (Upper).
9) Remove the First Delivery Tray.
10) Remove the Toner Bottle Mount.
11) Remove the Control Panel Lower Cover [1].

12) Release the 2 links [1] of the Bottle Motor.
