Specify whether to minimize the effects of “blasting,” which occurs when excess amounts of toner on certain media
types “blast” beyond the density boundaries defined in the print job.

Adjusts text objects by making them thicker in a vertical direction. Select

to thicken the width of text objects.

Note:
The horizontal or vertical direction is determined by the direction of paper output. The main scanning
direction is horizontal. For long edge feed, the long side is recognized as horizontal, and the short side is recognized
as vertical. For short edge feed, the long side is recognized as vertical and the short side is recognized as horizontal.
