  Programma internazionale ENERGY STAR 

In quanto partner di ENERGY STAR®, Canon Inc. ha determinato che la presente macchina soddisfa i 
requisti di efficienza energetica del programma internazionale ENERGY STAR.
Il programma internazionale ENERGY STAR per le macchine da ufficio è un programma 
internazionale che promuove il risparmio energetico tramite l’utilizzo di computer e altre 
macchine da ufficio. Il programma sostiene lo sviluppo e la diffusione di prodotti dotati di funzioni 
che consentono l’effettiva riduzione del consumo energetico. Si tratta di un sistema aperto a 
partecipazione volontaria da parte dei proprietari d’impresa. I prodotti coinvolti sono le macchine 
da ufficio, come i computer, i monitor, le stampanti, i fax e le fotocopiatrici. Gli standard e i logo 
sono uniformi fra tutte le nazioni partecipanti.
