Adjust any necessary settings for your document.

Press [Image Quality] to select the fax resolution. (See "Adjusting the Image Quality 
(Fax Resolution)," on p. 4-5.)

Press [Exposure] to select the scan density. (See "Adjusting the Exposure (Scan 
Density)," on p. 4-6.)

Enter the fax/telephone numbers you want to send to.

To use one-touch speed dialing:

Press the one-touch speed dialing key(s).

To use coded speed dialing:

Press [Coded Dial] 

 use the numeric keys to enter the two-digit code.

NOTE

Repeat step above to enter the other codes if necessary.

To use regular dialing:

Use the numeric keys to enter the fax/telephone number 

 press [Set].

To review the numbers you have entered, press [ ] or [ ].

Press [Start].

If you are using the platen glass, you will be prompted when the page has been 
scanned. Place the next page (for a multipage document) 

 press [Start]. To start 

sending, press [Set].

NOTE

Only one broadcasting job will be active at any given time.

To cancel sending, press [Stop/Reset] 

 follow the instructions in the LCD. When you 

press [Stop/Reset], sending to all recipients will be canceled. You cannot cancel sending 
to only one recipient. (See Chapter 7, "System Monitor," in the 

Basic Guide
