FAX SETTINGS
2. INCOMING RING
Sets whether or not to activate the ring alert of the optional handset or external telephone if
<RX MODE> is set to <FaxOnly>.
Selecting <ON> allows you to learn the fax reception and answer voice calls if you pick up the
optional handset or external telephone while it is ringing.
ON
The optional handset or external telephone rings.
RING COUNT
Sets the number of incoming rings before the machine answers. (1TIMES–16TIMES (
2TIMES
))
OFF
The optional handset or the external telephone does not ring. (In the Sleep mode, the optional
handset or external telephone may ring one or two times.)
3. REMOTE RX
Sets whether to use remote receiving. (See “Remote Reception,” on p. 3-27.)
ON
The machine enables remote receiving.
REMOTE RX ID
You can dial a code on remote extension to start receiving a document.
A combination of two characters using 0 to 9
(default:

OFF
The machine disables remote receiving.
4. RX PRINT
Sets whether to store all received pages in memory before printing them out or print each page
as it is received. (See “Selecting the Receive Mode for Printing,” on p. 3-28)
MEMORY RX
Prints after all the pages of the document are received.
PRINT RX
Prints each page as it is received.
