Insert the detector.
Insert the detector all the way into
the detector insertion slot of the
Docking Station in the direction of
the arrow as illustrated to the
right.
Check the position of the
connector on the detector when
inserting it.
The detector is attached to the
Docking Station using the magnets
at the back of the detector insertion
slot, and battery charging begins
automatically.

Turn off the detector.
Press and hold the POWER switch (approx. 3 seconds).
The Power LED lamps are off.
4.3 Ending use of the detector
4.3.1 Return the detector to the Docking Station
When inserting the detector, avoid jolting or scraping it. Doing so may damage
the Docking Station.
Check the connector terminals of the detector to see that they are free of dirt or
dust. Dirt or dust adhering to or filling the connector terminals might prevent the
battery from being charged.

4.3.2 Remove the battery pack and store the
detector
When the detector will not be used for some time, remove the battery pack.
Otherwise, overdischarge may occur, leading to a shorter battery life.
