Headset Delta Compression Assembly - K35051
The Supersix Evo utilizes a fork with a
triangular steerer, also known as a “delta
steerer”
Only headset compression assembly K35051
can be used with the fork.
Important Information For Owners
The headset, stem, handlebar spacers, and
compression assembly are parts of a system
designed to work together. It is important to
your safety that you do not alter, remove or
omit parts, or assemble the system
incorrectly.
This manual does not include instructions for
servicing. This is why you should have work on
the system performed by a professional
bicycle mechanic with the experience, tools,
and information to complete any needed
service.
Have a professional bicycle mechanic service the fork, headset ,and stem of your bicycle.
Headset compression assembly K35051 must be assembled with both filler pieces. Do not
remove them for any reason.
The steerer top must be level (+2/-1mm) with top of the stem.
Key Points
The delta steerer must be sized correctly. A
mechanic must observe guidlines for cutting
and preparing the carbon fork for the frame.
The spacers used for bikes with internal
routing have been designed so that both filler
pieces are correctly positioned with the foot
pointing down.
Internal routing of the cables/housing is
limited to the void between the headset
bearing and the steerer sides.
NOTICE
Hose lengths must be carefully selected.
Avoid both too long and too short, because
incorrect lengths can limit steering angle
and damage hoses.
