TETHER SWITCH
On equipped models, the tether switch is an additional
safety device. Test for proper operation of the switch before
riding. The switch must be in the operating position to start
the vehicle. To test the switch, make sure the switch pin is
inserted correctly. Start the engine. With the engine
running, pull the strap quickly from the switch body the
engine should shut down immediately. If it does not, do not
ride the ATV; the switch is damaged and must be replaced.
Contact your dealer for a replacement.
