In the office, several days prior to the planned installation date, do the following:

3. Install data logger support software (
Once on site, do the following:
1. Locate suitable site (
2. Prepare concrete base and allow the concrete base to cure a minimum of seven days (
3. Install the T107 pole (
(p. 16)).
4. Place instrumentation enclosure on the T107 pole, slide the enclosure to the top of the
pole, and secure it with the correct orientation (
5. Install the crossarm and sensors (

4.1 User-supplied tools
The following tools are used for the base and pole installation.
Shovel
Rake
Open end wrenches: 10 mm (3/8 in), 11 mm (7/16 in), 13 mm (1/2 in), two 14 mm (9/16 in)
Magnetic compass
2 m (6 ft) step ladder
Tape measure: 4 to 6 m (12 to 20 ft)
Claw hammer
Level: 60 to 90 cm (24 in to 36 in)
Hand saw
