5. In the Available Sensors and Devices box, type SnowVUE10. You can also find the sensor in
the Sensors > Miscellaneous Sensors folder. Double-click SnowVUE10 Digital Snow Depth
Sensor. Under the Properties tab, type the Distance to base, which is the distance from the
wire mesh face to the ground; this value should be in the same units as the Units of
measure. The default for Units of measure is m; this can be changed by clicking the Units of
measure box and selecting another value. SDI-12 Address defaults to 0. Type the correct
SDI-12 Address if it has been changed from the factory-set default value. Click the Air
temperature (Deg C) reference box and select the reference temperature variable (in this
example, T109_C). Click OK.
