FT-401 Juhl Fountain
Assembly Instructions
Assemble your fountain on a level surface capable of holding a minimum of 110 lbs with an
approximate 1/4 sq. ft. footprint (actual dimensions 11.5" Diam.).
Step 1 -
Position the basin (FT-401B) where the fountain is to be installed, ensuring that it will
be level.
Step 2 -
Assemble the pump kit:
2a - NOTE: Attach the adapter indicated in the “Pump Kit Parts List” to the pump.
2b -
Using a hose clamp and screwdriver, attach the 1/2" non-kink tubing end of the
tubing assembly to the pump adapter.
2c -
Place the stopper around the pump cord approximately 6" from the pump.
Step 3 -
Feed the pump cord through the hole in the basin (FT-401B) and out of the channel.
Step 4 -
FIRMLY press the stopper into the hole evenly.
4a - NOTE: Using the handle of a screwdriver or hammer works best to press the stopper
in place.
Step 5 -
Fill the basin (FT-401B) with water.

Step 6 -
While holding the water feature (FT-401A) over the basin (FT-401B), insert the CPVC end
of the tubing assembly into the coupling at the bottom of the water feature.
Step 7 -
Center the water feature (FT-401A) into the basin (FT-401B) ensuring that it is level.
7a -
Turn the feature to coil the tubing as you lower it into position.
