ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure you are assembling your fountain on a level surface capable of holding a
minimum of 832 pounds with approximately a 3 square foot footprint.
2. Pump and hose assembly must be done before placing fountain against the wall.
3. Feed the pump and light cords through the hole in the basin leaving enough cord
length inside basin to work with pump and light. Light will rest on top of disk
inside basin.
4. Wrap a piece of putty around the cords where you will be placing the stopper. (Fig A)
5. Fit cords into stopper
6. Place a piece of putty inside the length of the slit in the stopper
7. Wrap putty around outside of stopper ensuring that the slit and the cord hole are
covered and sealed (Fig B)
8. Press stopper firmly into the hole of basin
9. Place a hose clamp over each end of the length of
⅝ ” non-kink black tubing
10. Connect one end to the pump water outlet and one end to the copper pipe extended into the inside of
the basin
11. Clean outside surface of the copper plate provided with a clean, dry towel.
12. Apply silicone generously on the outside of the plate as shown below.
13. Place plate over spiller so that it is positioned exactly on top and position it with a downward movement as
shown on picture.
a. The small lip on the bottom of the spiller will rest behind the back of the spiller.
14. Let it dry a minimum of 4 hours, 24 hours is preferable.
15. The copper spiller will protrude over the top of the sides of the concrete spiller.
16. Place the spiller stop (FT-118E) into the spiller area.
17. Turn on water fountain to test for leaks before placing top piece.
18. If there are leaks between the concrete and the copper go back to step
11
.
19. Using the tube of silicone provided, run a bead of silicone along the top of the basin where the top piece will be
placed. Take care not to use too much silicone to minimize oozing of silicone from between the pieces.
