5.2 Not allowed uses
•
Do not use the tool when being in unstable balance.
•
Do not cut materials which are different from wood.
•
Do not use the tool as a lever or to lift, move or break any object.
•
Do not use the tool if the atmosphere is explosive or inflammable.
5.3 Tool transport
When carrying the tool, keep its bar (2) facing backwards and inside its guard (15).
For long transports taking more than 15 minutes, keep the tool in its packaging. This prevents accidental damages to
things and/or injuries to people and/or damages to the tool during transport
5.4 Storing the tool
In case of long periods of tool inactivity:
• Follow all the maintenance indications in the manual.
• Empty the oil reservoir (14) and close its plug (12).
• Remove the cutting residues (sawdust) from the front cover (5).
• Perfectly clean and re-assemble the tool.
• Put the bar into its guard (15).
• Recharge the batteries before putting them into the carrying case.
• Clean the tool and put it with its components into its case.
• Store the tool in a dry place.
• During long periods of inactivity recharge the batteries not later than every 3 months.
5.5 Troubleshooting
All the following maintenance operations shall be carried out by a maintenance technician.
