Reading of the settings
When the camera is turned OFF, the setting values of the Register are deleted and when the camera is turned ON again, the
Register is reset with the setting values stored on EEPROM. Then, if the latest setting values in the Register is required to remain
valid even when the camera is turned ON next time, it is needed to save the setting values on EEPROM.
When it is required to change the setting values on EEPROM, please be sure to save the current setting values on the File so that
it is possible to restore the data to its initial state.

Saving the EEPROM data onto the File
It is possible to save the data of EEPROM onto the File by the following procedure.
Please be sure to save the initial setting data of EEPROM onto the File before changing the data of EEPROM.
1)
Select [Save As (from EEPROM to File)] in [File] menu.
2)
Enter the File name and create the File.

Transferring the data from EEPROM to the Register
It is possible to transfer the data from EEPROM to the Register by the following procedure. This is performed to reset the
Register settings having changed.
1)
Click [EEPROM→Register] Button.
2)
EEPROM settings and Register settings are compared with one another and the setting items of which values are
different are displayed. Check the items willing to reset the Register data, then the EEPROM data are written on the
Register after clicking [OK] button.
3)
The following message is displayed after completion of writing.
“Finish writing ”

Transferring the data from the Register to EEPROM
It is possible to transfer the data from the Register to EEPROM by the following procedure. This is performed to hold the
Register settings having changed even after power-OFF.
1)
Click [Register→EEPROM] Button.
2)
EEPROM settings and Register settings are compared with one another and the setting items of which values are
different are displayed. Check the items willing to reset the EEPROM data, then the Register data are written on the
EEPROM after clicking [OK] button.
3)
The following message is displayed after completion of writing.
“Finish writing ”

Writing
the File data onto EEPROM
It is possible to write the data saved in the File onto EEPROM by the following procedure. This is performed to set the plural
cameras to the same settings.
1)
Select [Open (from File to EEPROM)] in [File] menu.
2)
Select the File and click [Open] button.
3)
After having finished to read the current EEPROM data, EEPROM settings and File settings are compared with one
another and the setting items of which values are different are displayed. Check the items willing to reset the EEPROM
data, then the File data are written on the EEPROM upon clicking [OK] button.
4)
The following message is displayed after completion of writing.
“Finish writing ”
By clicking [OK] button, the EEPROM settings are written on the Register allowing to perform the operational check .(*)
* Turn off the power off once and get assured that the setting values are retained.

It is possible to write the Register data onto the File by the following procedure.
1)
Select [Save As (from Register to File)] in [File] menu.
2)
Enter the File name and create the File.
