Uploading the Configuration Log
The configuration log lists actions performed by users to configure the system. This file is mostly used for security,
to identify suspicious user actions. It can also be used for troubleshooting.
When uploading the configuration log, the PTP 820G or PTP 820F functions as an FTP or SFTP client. You must
install FTP or SFTP server software on the PC or laptop you are using to perform the upload. For details, see
Configuring the Internal Ports for FTP or SFTP.
To upload the configuration log:
1.
Install and configure an FTP server on the PC or laptop you are using to perform the upload. See
the Internal Ports for FTP or SFTP.
2.
Select
Platform > Security > General > Configuration Log Upload
. The Security Log Upload page opens.
