Adding a User for Access to a module
The Account > Add User page allows to create a new user for accessing 450 Platform Family -
AP/SM/BHM/BHS. The Add User page is explained in
Table 33 Add User page of account page - AP/ SM/BH
Attribute
Meaning
User Name
User Account name.
Level
Select appropriate level for new account. It can be INSTALLER,
ADMINISTRATOR or TECHNICIAN. See Managing module Access by
passwords in Planning and Installation Guide.
New Password
Assign the password for new user account
Confirm Password
This new password must be confirmed in the “Confirm Password” field.
User Mode
User Mode is used to create an account which are mainly used for viewing
the configurations.
The local and remote Read-Only user account can be created by “Admin”,
“Installer” or “Tech” logins. To create a Read-Only user, the “read-only”
check box needs to be checked.
Note
The Read-Only user cannot perform any service impacting operations like creating read-
only accounts, editing and viewing read-only user accounts, changes in login page, read-
only user login, Telnet access, SNMP, RADIUS and upgrade/downgrade.
