USE OF THE HEATER (SCOPE)
The CalTech Heating Technologies AB air heater is designed to:
•
Heat cabins, boats, trucks, minibuses, vans and motorhomes as
well as to heat cargo onboard vehicles
•
Defrost vehicle windows
All other applications are not allowed, unless explicitly approved in advance
by CalTech Heating Technologies AB.
The air heater operates independently of the vehicle engine and is
integrated into the vehicle´s electrical and fuel systems.
The heaters are not designed for heating hazardous substances. The heater
must not be installed so that it is continuously exposed to water.
TYPE LABE L
The label providing information about the heater must be positioned so that
it can be read easily when the heater is installed in the vehicle (Requirement
from 2001/56/EC, Appendix VII, Point 2.2.4 and ECE R122, and Point
5.3.2.4). The model plate must be positioned in such way that it cannot be
damaged and must be clearly legible when installed in the heaters.
Otherwise a duplicate Type Label must be used.
