CLEANING AND CARE
Unplug toaster before cleaning. Failure to do so may result in risk of serious injury
and electric shock.
Before Cleaning
Prior to cleaning your toaster, press the “Cancel” button, unplug the toaster power
cord from the electrical outlet and let the toaster cool completely.
Emptying the Crumb Tray
To empty the crumb tray, first locate the crumb tray at the base of the toaster,
opposite the controls. Remove the crumb tray with the handle and discard
the crumbs. Insert the crumb tray back into the toaster, making sure to push in
completely.
Note:
Do not operate the toaster without the crumb tray in place.
Cleaning the Toaster
•
Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the outside of the toaster. If needed, use a damp
cloth to wipe the outside of the toaster and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
•
Do not immerse the toaster in water during cleaning.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or cleansers, since they may scratch the
surface of the toaster.
•
The crumb tray should be washed by hand with warm water and mild detergent.
Do not wash the crumb tray in the dishwasher, this will void the
warranty.
•
Make sure the crumb tray is completely dry before placing it back in the toaster.
STORAGE
Wrap the electrical cord under the toaster for easy storage. Store the toaster
upright on a clean, dry, level surface. Do not store anything on top of the toaster.
