IV. HEATER OPERATION
Before using your water heater, make sure you read and follow the instructions in this
manual and all the product labels.
•
Before starting the heater, fill the appliance with water from the water supply.
•
Check visually if there are any possible water leaks.
WARNING! Make sure your heater is completely full of water before starting it; if you
start your heater without water, it will damage the electrical resistance (heating
element) and will void the warranty.
Operation and Temperature Regulation
The product is set to “Manual” mode by default, with a set temperature at 70
º
C, and
the “ECO EVO” function is activated. If the electrical power goes out, or the product is
switched off with the ON/OFF button (Ref. A), the last configured temperature remains in
the memory.
During the heating phase, a slight sound can be heard due to the water being heater.
To turn on the device, press the ON/OFF button (Ref. A). Configure the desired temperature
selecting a level between 40
º
C and 80
º
C, using the “+” and “-” keys. (Ref. D) During
the heating phase, the LEDs (Ref. 1-5) corresponding to the temperature reached by
the water are kept on; the rest, up to configured temperature, blink progressively. For
example, if the temperature decreases, after water is used, heating is reactivated
automatically and the LEDs between the last fixed lit LED and the one corresponding to
the configured temperature will blink again progressively.
ECO EVO Function
The “ECO EVO” function is a program that automatically “learns” the user’s consumption
levels, reducing the dispersion of heat to a minimum, and maximizing energy savings.
The “ECO EVO” function includes an initial storage period that lasts one week, during
which the product starts operating at the configured temperature. At the end of this
“learning” week, the “ECO-EVO” function automatically regulates water heating based
on the real use of the device. The product guarantees a minimum reserve of hot water
for periods during which water extraction is not foreseen.
The hot water use learning process also continues after the first week. The process
achieves its maximum efficiency after 4 weeks of learning.
To activate this function, press the corresponding key, which will light up. Manual
temperature selection is possible in this mode, but if it is modified, the “ECO EVO” function
is deactivated.
To reactivate it, press the “ECO” key again
