III. INSTALLING YOUR HEATER

HEATER LOCATION:

For optimal performance, place the heater as close as possible to the points of use (We recom-
mend not more than a 5 meter distance). This will minimize the loss of heat and provide hot
water faster at the point of use.
•  It is an appliance that must be installed vertically to operate properly. When the installation

is finished and before filling it with water and switching on the power supply, make sure it is
effectively vertically mounted, using a testing instrument (such as a bubble level).

•  Install your water heater so that the control panel is not obstructed, to facilitate its maintenan-

ce and operation, leave a free space of at least 50 cm for access to the electrical parts.

•  The water heater’s location should be as practical as possible, near the areas where hot

water is used in order to avoid heat loss or freezing in areas of extreme cold.

•  The heater requires protection against the rain, preferably a roof at a minimum of 80cm from

the heater cover.

•  This water heater can be installed inside or in enclosed spaces, because it does not require

ventilation.

•  The heater must be perfectly fixed to avoid movement during earthquakes and/or tremors,

in order to prevent it falling from its position. It must also be protected by a roof or niche to
avoid direct contact with the rain.

•  The heater must be mounted with its support, anchors and screws (included). Failure to use

the screws and bolts (included) can cause damage to the installation.

•  Make two horizontal drill holes with a 5/16” concrete bit at a distance of 62 mm and place the

support according to Figure 2.
