Listening to Traffic Announcement

The RDS data are the PI, PS, TP, PTY, TA
and AF data.

(Program identification):

Code for identifying the radio station.

(Program service):

Name of the radio station.

(Program type):

Type of program such as news, Pop music,
sports etc.

(Traffic program):

Code indicating a station broadcasting
traffic information.

(Traffic announcement):

Function allowing the broadcasting of traffic
information.

(Alternative frequencies):

Function allowing an automatic search for
the best alternative frequency available.

It is possible to program the car radio so
that it interrupts disc mode, radio mode,
AUX mode or the current radio station when
a traffic announcement is broadcast.

Briefly press the

button to switch TA

mode on or off.

When

mode is on and a traffic announce

-ment is transmitted:

- When the car radio was in CD

(MP3/WMA), USB/SD/MMC or AUX IN
mode, it will switch temporarily to radio
mode.

- Temporary switch over to an EON linked

station when EON detects a traffic
announcement on that other program.

- If the volume level was under the

threshold point it will be raised to the
threshold point.

- When

mode is on, segment

is

turned on.

- When a TP station is received,segment

“TP” is turned on.

The current traffic announcement is

cancelled by pressing this key. But the
mode will not be off.

1. Turn the power on.

In media (CD/MP3/WMA /USB/SD/ MMC)
playback mode, press the

button to

interrupt the play back.
Press again to resume the playback.

- In media (CD/MP3/WMA /USB/SD/ MMC)
playback mode, briefly press the

to play the next track.

In CD or MP3/WMA file playback process,
press and hold the

button to fast

forward or fast reverse. Release the
buttons when the desired location is found,
and normal play

starts.

In CD or MP3/WMA file playback process,
press the

(-10),

(+10) button to play the

previous or next 10 track or file.

You can play the beginning of each track or
file for 10 seconds in sequence.
In CD or MP3/WMA file playback, briefly
press the

button to play the first 10

seconds segment of each track of file. The
word “SCN” appears on the LCD display.
Press again to stop scanning and play the
currently selected track or file.
