TO MATCH LIGHT THE GRILL
If the burners do not light after several attempts, then the burners may be match lit using a long stem match.
Pass the lit match through the notch in the front of the grill rack, keeping your hand and face away from the grill area
while pushing and turning the grill knob 90 degrees to the HI position.
You should hear and see the burner light.
If the burner does not light within 4 seconds, turn the knob to the OFF position and wait 5 minutes before attempting to
light the burner again.
USING THE GRILL
Grilling requires high heat for searing and proper browning. Most foods are cooked at the “medium” setting for the entire
cooking time. However, when grilling large pieces of meat or poultry, it may be necessary to turn the heat to a lower
setting after the initial browning. This cooks the food thoroughly without burning the outside. Foods cooked for a long
time or basted with a sugary marinade may need a lower setting near the end of the cooking time.
