HOW IT WORKS
Infrared thermometers measure the surface
temperature of an object by sensing its emit-
ted energy, as shown overleaf. This energy
information is collected, directed onto a
detector, and translated by a microprocessor
into a temperature reading displayed on the
unit.
METHODE DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Les thermomètres infrarouges mesurent la
température à la surface d’un objet en
détectant l’énergie qu’il émet, comme mon-
tré ci-dessus. Les informations énergétiques
sont recueillies et dirigées sur un détecteur
et traduites, par un microprocesseur, en une
lecture de température, qui est affichée sur
l’unité.

Infrarot-Thermometer messen die
Oberflächentemperatur eines Objekts,
indem seine abgegebene Wärmeenergie,

CÓMO FUNCIONA

COME FUNZIONA
Termometri infrarossi misurano la temper-
atura superficiale di un oggetto rilevando
l’energia da esso emessa, come mostrato sul
retro. Queste informazioni sull’energia ven-
gono raccolte, dirette su un rilevatore, e
tradotte da un microprocessore in una let-
tura della temperatura mostrata dallo stru-
mento.
