
Entering Values
Before you begin entering values, you
must first select a mode:
■
Time Code [30 DF] [30 NDF] [25 PAL],
[CusTC];
■
Real-time [H:M:S];
■
Film
[16mm] [35mm] [CusFilm]
■
Frames
[Frms] — To enter frames,
you first press the time code
or film key to establish the
type of frames you’re using.
You can enter values in either of two
ways:
Auto-Entry
or
Colon Entry.
(1) Auto-Entry —
To enter values
“automatically,” you enter numbers
and they “march” across from right
to left, filling in the “slots.” For sin-
gle-digit minute, second and/or
frame values, you must enter zeroes
to fill the slots (for example, to
enter 8 frames you would enter 08).
(2) Colon Entry —

values using the colon key [:] to
