Q&A
1. Specification of leads
The following table enumerates the max current which AWG copper could bear:
AWG 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28
Max
current(A)
40 25 20 13 10 7 5 3.5 2.5 1.7
Note: AWG is the short of American Wire Gage which indicates X lead (it is marked on the
lead). The parameters on the above table are for single lead in 30
℃
working
temperature. This is for your reference only.
2. Could not set CC mode
The power supply has auto switch function between CC mode and CV mode. Due to this
function, the power supply could keep continuous operation by switching from CV mode to
CC mode when the load changes.
According to the present load, power supply works under CV mode; it provides controlled
output voltage which keeps constant when resistance of load diminish; and it will switch until
the actual current is above the set value.
If power supply switches to output current, output voltage will scale down according to
resistance of load.
The power supply will be back to CV mode when the current is below the setting.
The working mode of power supply could be indicated via the VFD marked zone; if it
displays CV, the power supply works under CV mode; if it displays CC, the power supply
works under CC mode.
3. No output
Please check the status of current in SET whether it is zero; if it is set as zero, please modify
to non-zero value; if still no output, please connect ITECH directly.
4. How to avoid it couldn’t start when test battery
