4.4 Brake mode

The ÖSA comes with two different brake modes that you can choose from to suit
your riding style.

Brake mode 1

This brake mode has the motor brake turned off. When you release the throttle,
the bike keeps freewheeling making for a pleasant experience for casual cruising.

Brake mode 2

This brake mode has the motor brake activated when you release the throttle. This
will slow you down gradually and can be used for greater control. All the braking
power is regenerated into the battery pack for an increased range.

WARNING:

When riding in traffic and utilizing the brake mode, the braking light

will not be activated and notify other road users that you are slowing down. Use
with caution and always use the mechanical brakes as a means to stop your bike
when riding.

4.5 Changing Brake mode

When the bike has been activated, press the lower button to cycle between Brake
Mode 1 and 2. The current brake mode is indicated by “BX”, with the X being
either 1 or 2. The bike will make a specific sound depending on the selected riding
mode.

4.6 Change between Miles per hour and Kilometers per hour

When the bike has been activated, press and hold the lower button on the display
to change between Mph and Kmh.

4.7 Reset the trip meter

When the bike has been activated, press and hold the middle button on the
display, to start a new trip, or to cancel your current trip.
