Always unplug the power cable:
• Before removing or attaching the water tank
• When filling the tank with water
• When the machine is left unused for a prolonged period of time
• Should it break down
• Before cleaning the machine
To avoid the risk of danger when in operation:
• This coffee machine has been specially designed for home use only and for similar environments,
not for commercial use, and should only be used in the ways described in these instructions.
• This coffee machine has not been designed to be used by people (including children) with
impaired mental, physical or sensory capabilities unless they are supervised or properly trained
to use this appliance by someone responsible for their safety.
• Ensure that children cannot play with this machine by keeping it out of reach.
• Hot water can scald! Never put your fingers under the coffee dispenser when the appliance is
in use.
• Always shut the lever and do not lift it when the appliance is in use as there is a risk of being
scalded.
• Do not stick fingers inside the used capsule container as there is a risk of injury.
• Do not use warped or damaged capsules. Water could pour around a capsule that hasn’t been
pierced properly and damage the appliance.
• Never use the coffee machine without the drip tray to avoid leaks.
To avoid damaging the machine:
• Only fill the tank with drinking water; never use sparkling mineral water or other liquids.
• To ensure that the pump doesn’t work with an empty system and overheat, always check there
is enough water in the water tank before turning on the machine.
• To avoid causing damage, never unplug the machine by pulling on the power cable; never move
or carry the appliance by its power cable.
Never touch the power cable with wet hands.
• Never plunge the coffee machine, or any of its electrical parts, in water. Water is dangerous
when it comes into contact with electricity and can cause electric shocks.
• Never carry out technical modifications on the coffee machine.
This appliance is designed to be used in the home and in similar environments such as:
• Offices and other workplaces, including kitchen areas set up for shop assistants
• Agritourism establishments
• Hotels, motels and other residential establishments if used directly by customers
