ALARM limit command
The alarm checking is performing only when the acquisition is enabled
(ACQ:ON setting). When the acquired current is outside the configured range, the alarm
condition is set. In this condition the D-SUB “Alarm” line is driven high and the
magnetic relay is switched, so the Normally Open contact (Relay NO) becomes Closed
(see section “
I/O Connector
”).
The Alarm condition is also reported on the Status Register. The “
Alarm Status
”
bit indicates the alarm condition (
‘0’
– no alarm;
‘1’
– alarm condition). The
“Alarm
Direction”
indicates the alarm direction condition (
‘0’
– detected a current under the
LLIM;
‘1’
– detected a current over the ULIM).
