Dispose of water inside the tank according to

the draining direction markings.

When water enters and has contact with

components inside the base unit such as the

circuit board, it may cause short circuit or

malfunction.

Clean the base unit at least once a week.

The antibacterial function of the base unit does

not guarantee that generation of mold and

bacteria will be suppressed. This means that, if

it is used continually without cleaning, mold and

bacteria may propagate, and stains or water

spots may appear on the unit, which can reduce

humidifying performance or cause malfunction.

In rare occasions, individuals predisposed to

allergies may have severe reactions that can

potentially damage health. Make sure that the

unit is cleaned according to procedures provided

by Quick Start Guide.

Keep the unit at least 50 cm away from walls

or any objects that must be kept away from

moisture. Mist can cause mold, stains or

discoloration. Electronic devices may also

malfunction.

Keep the unit at least 1 m away from television

sets, radio equipment, video players, cordless

telephones, air conditioners and the like.

The unit may cause electromagnetic interference

that results in screen display

 icker or noise.

When water leaks from the bottom of the

base unit, immediately disconnect the power

cord and drain the water in the tank and the

tank component.

The product is designed to drain water out of

the water drain hole at the bottom of the base

unit in the event water gets into the base unit.

If water leaks out of the bottom of the base unit

due to, for example, water having entered the

unit through the fan blowout port, allow the unit

to suf

 ciently dry

rst, then use the unit again

according to the proper procedures.

If the condition of the unit does not improve,

contact our Customer Service Center. Water

damage to household items and other objects

are not included in the product warranty. Place

the unit on a tray or sheet when using it in a

location where such damages can be foreseen.
