Top Strap Anchor Location

An anchor loop bracket for a top strap is located on the
back of the rear seat frame above the floor for each
rear seating position. In order to get to the brackets, you
will have to fold the rear seatback(s). See Rear Seat
Operation on page 1-6 for information on folding the rear
seatbacks.

Do not secure a child restraint in the right front
passenger’s position if a national or local law requires
that the top strap be anchored, or if the instructions that
come with the child restraint say that the top strap
must be anchored. There is no place to anchor the top
strap in this position.
