Storage Mode Personalization
When this feature is turned on, the vehicle will enter
the storage mode about 20 minutes after the ignition
has been turned to LOCK. The vehicle will stay in the
storage mode until the ignition key is turned out of
LOCK. The system will “wake
-
up” when the door
key is inserted into the door; however, your vehicle will
remain in the storage mode. The ignition must be out
of LOCK before the battery guard is disabled.
Programmable Modes
Mode 1 (STORAGE MODE): Turns feature on.
Mode 2 (STORAGE MODE): Turns feature off.
Before your vehicle was shipped from the factory, it was
programmed to Mode 2. The mode to which the vehicle
was programmed may have been changed since it left
the factory. To determine the mode to which the vehicle
is programmed or to program the vehicle to a different
mode, do the following:
1. Enter feature programming following the
instructions listed previously.
2. Press the SKIP INFO button until STORAGE
MODE appears on the display.
3. Press YES TRIP RESET to select this feature
for programming.
4. A yes or no response must be made after each mode
is displayed in order to continue to the next mode.
Press the YES TRIP RESET button to indicate yes
to turn this feature on, or press NO INFO RESET to
turn this feature off.
FEATURE ON is displayed after a yes response.
If you respond with no, FEATURE OFF is
briefly displayed.
This is the last available programmable feature.
A yes or no response will end out of the Driver
Information Center (DIC) display.
The mode you selected is now set. You can either exit
the programming mode by following the instructions
later in this section or program the next feature available
on your vehicle.
