11. Storage
• The appliance should be stored in the installed position. If you remove the appliance, a registered technician must re do the
installation.
• Close the cylinder vlave supplying gas to the applaince, if you remove the cylinder, then disconnect the cylinder.
• Store cylinder in a well-ventilated area away from combustible material. Storage of cylinders should preferably be outdoors in a shaded
or sheltered and must NOT be in a basement.
12. Returning the appliance for Repair, Service & Warranty
• If your appliance needs to be returned under warranty, ensure that a gas practitioner removes the appliance.
• Do not modify the appliance. This may cause the appliance to become unsafe. Any modifications will render the CADAC warranty null
and void.
• If you cannot rectify any fault by following these instructions, contact your local CADAC distributor for advise, inspection or repair
instructions.
• Please keep all proof of payments and the installation certificate for warranty purposes, if these can not be supplied then all warranties
will be considered void.

How to replace the jets
Remove the burner top plate and burner base to expose the jet as shown in Fig.1.
Use a spanner or socket to unscrew the M6 jet as shown in Fig.2.
You can now screw the new jet in.

Where to insert and replace the battery.
The battery is used to operate the piezo to ignite the burners. The battery casing is located
beneath the gas hob. Once your unit has been installed and later you need to replace the
battery. You can do this by accessing your hob from below the table top where it is installed.
Note that the battery is a Size D.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Insert a DC1.5V battery into the battery compartment in the cover. This battery is the power
supply for the piezo ignition of the gas burners.
Notes for battery installation or replacement:
• Only use a DC1.5Volt battery.
• Check for correct polarity ( label to the side of the battery compartment).
