TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLIST
If the 2M46-04R is not working properly, refer to
Table 4-4
for a checklist
of possible problems, causes, and recommended actions to resolve the
problem.

problem continues.
User parameters (IP
address, Device and
Module name, etc.)
were lost when the
2M46-04R power
was cycled or the
front panel RESET
button was pressed.
Mode switch (7), NVRAM
Reset, was changed
sometime before either
cycling power or
pressing the RESET
button causing the
user-entered parameters
to reset to factory default
settings.
Reenter the lost parameters
as necessary. Call the
Cabletron Systems Global
Call Center if problem
continues.
