9. Operator responsibility

You bought a high quality product with a long life 

time. To assure the function every technical equip-

ment needs to be serviced. 

Regular  back  washing  and  checks  oft  he  filter,  as 

well as leak tightness checks has to be done by the 

operater. According to DIN 1988-200 the filter has 

to be regularly visual inspected, not later than 2 

months. The filter has to be checked of leak tightness 

and contamination. The filterelement has to be peri-

odically, depending on operating conditions, but at 

least every 6 months changed.

According to DIN EN 806-5, maintenance must be

carried out by expert technical staffs who also re-

place the parts subject to wear and tear. We recom-

mend closing a maintenance contract. This is carried 

out by the installer or manufacturer.

Qualified staff:

 The product may only be installed, 

commissioned and serviced by skilled personnel. 

Only trained persons are allowed to operate and 

use it.

Trained person:

 Has received instruction and stu-

died the information in this document concerning 

the tasks entrusted to him/her, and the possible risks 

in the event of inappropriate behaviour.

Skilled personnel:

 Based on the professional training 

received, knowledge and experience, and know-

ledge of the relevant definitions, is qualified to install 

the product, to commission and to service it.
